Daffodil Festival Bazaar

The Daffodil Festival fun includes a special shopping opportunity on Friday, 10am - 3pm. Enjoy a diverse market of fabulous items from professional photography to unique jewelry. You don't want to miss it! A Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce signature event.

Location: 17 South Water Street, Dreamland Theater, Harborview Room

The Flower Power Party

The Nantucket Historical Association's Flower Power Party, in partnership with N Magazine and the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce, is the perfect way to spend Friday evening. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, festive libations, a photo booth, and a prize for the best “blooming” outfit! Join your friends at the Whaling Museum, 13 Broad Street.

All activities and events on Saturday are free and open to the public!

50th Nantucket Daffodil Festival Weekend Antique Car Parade & Tailgate Picnic

Visit town early to view the bedecked vintage cars line up on Main Street. (Drivers are often garbed in themed costumes!) Vote on your favorites. “People’s Choice” ballots are available outside the Chamber office at Zero Main Street. Car staging begins at 9:30 AM. The parade starts at noon following this route: right on Centre Street, right on Broad Street, right on South Water Street, and back up Main Street. Cars continue left on Orange Street and head out of town, around the Rotary and out Milestone Road to ‘Sconset. Cars park along the right. All picnics are eligible to win ribbons. A Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce signature event.

Children's Beach Bandstand

10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Join us at Children's Beach for our Hat Pageant, Bike Parade, Dog Parade, visits from special friends, and other great activities!

Daffodil Hat Pageant - 10am

Show off your creativity with a festively decorated, daffodil-themed hat (Elegant or goofy? It's all fabulous fun!) and join the Pageant! Open to men, women, and children. Ribbons awarded in adult and youth categories.
Starting Saturday, April 27th at 10:00am to open the day's festivities, you don't want to miss it! Children's Beach Bandstand, Harbor View Way. A Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce Signature Event.

Children's Beach Bike Parade - 10:35am

Fun for children of all ages and their families! Decorate your bicycle, wagon, skateboard, baby carriage or other self-propelled vehicles with a Daffodil theme, or simply come decked out in your best Daffy gear! Ribbons awarded to all participants. Children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult, and all children on bicycles MUST wear a helmet.
Staging begins Saturday, April 27th, 10:35 AM at Children's Beach bandstand, Harbor View Way. A Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce Signature Event.

Dog Parade with NiSHA - 12:30pm

Deck out your four-legged companion in their Daffodil best for a howling good time! Join the Chamber in partnership with NiSHA (Nantucket Safe Harbor for Animals) for our Daffodil Dog Parade. Awards will be presented to the most dapper dog for an adorably memorable experience with the family.

Sign-up on Main Street during the Antique Car Show or at Children's Beach after 12:15 PM. Staging begins at 12:30 PM at Children's Beach bandstand, Harbor View Way, directly after the Antique Cars head to Siasconset. A Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce Signature Event.

50th Nantucket Garden Club Community Daffodil Flower Show

2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Don't miss the Nantucket Garden Club Annual Daffodil Flower Show with daffodil flower entries, floral arrangements, and photography entries. At the Nantucket Inn, 1 Miller Lane.

Admission is free with donations accepted for the Nantucket Garden Club's Island Daffodil Planting Fund.

Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the 50^th Nantucket Daffodil Festival, Thursday, April 23rd through Sunday, April 26th, 2026! “Daffy Weekend” is our most anticipated event of the year, representing the best of Nantucket charm, creativity, and community tradition. From the parade and picnic to the flower show and children’s activities, Daffodil Festival offers an abundance of fun for all ages and all interests. It’s grand, it’s colorful, and at times it’s downright silly. It’s a Nantucket weekend not to be missed!

Please note that the open container by-law waiver, if approved, is a privilege and ONLY applies to the picnic area in ’Sconset and does not include Main St downtown or Children’s Beach or any other location. If you are 21+ and choose to enjoy an adult beverage at the picnic, please do so responsibly, designate a driver, and do not provide alcohol to anyone under age. Retail businesses are reminded that serving alcohol is not permitted; only licensed bars and restaurants may serve to the public. Be kind, be mindful. Daffodil is a joyful celebration of community, and the safety and well-being of our residents and visitors is our top priority.
