Halloween

Friday, October 31st you are invited to join the annual Halloween Festivities, organized by the Inquirer and Mirror, and supported by the Town of Nantucket dept. of Culture and Tourism, and the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce.

New this year, the Lieutenant Max Wagner Memorial Fountain will have tables set up nearby to distribute candy bags, as well as host the first annual carved pumpkin contest.  Bring your carved pumpkin to Main Street on Halloween for consideration!

The annual costume contest and parade is back for another year! Costumed adults and children are asked to arrive by 3:15/3:30 pm at the bottom of Main Street in front of the Ralph Lauren store for the costume contest, and then in preparation for the 4:00 pm start of the parade at the the base of Main Street.

Main Street will be closed for these activities, please plan accordingly for traffic and parking.  Please be mindful of crossing intersections at crosswalks, and keep an extra eye on young attendees!

As always, consider Riding the Wave to the Halloween Parade or any other island activities. The bus is free!
