WIDOWS WALK: THE REMARKABLE WOMEN OF NANTUCKET
Did you know that a sea captain could be away for as long as 5 years. What was a Nantucket woman to do? Some accompanied their husbands on whaling voyages, while others were involved in: Astronomy, the Temperance Crusade, the Struggle for Women's Suffrage, the Abolitionist Movement, and the Underground Railroad. Join us on our walk to hear their incredible stories.
