Signature Event: Sustainable Sushi with Chef Bun Lai
We are thrilled to welcome Chef Bun Lai of Miya’s Sushi in New Haven, CT – the first sustainable sushi restaurant in the world – to this year’s festival. Bun Lai and Miya’s has been featured in a wide range of publications including National Geographic, Time Magazine, The New York Times, Scientific American and many more. He will share his documentary short, Blind Sushi, a 2018 James Beard Award finalist, followed by a discussion and a tasting of sustainable sushi. This is an event that is not to be missed.
