19-Piece Compaq Big Band Featured at 'One The Isle Gala'

The 19-piece Compaq Big Band will be featured at the Twentieth Anniversary Gala for ‘On The Isle’ on Nantucket Island on Saturday July 27th! For all the details check out www.ontheisle.org. The gala will celebrate the legacy of the ‘Sconset Actors Colony that dates back to the 1800’s, with a focus on highlighting two decades of ‘On The Isle’ productions. There are shows at the 'Sconset Casino and neighboring 'Sconset Chapel beginning at 7:00pm, and then dance the night away at the Casino with the Compaq Big Band featuring classics from the Swing Era plus other great big band charts beginning at 9:00pm. Tickets are $150 per person, and include a glass of bubbly and dessert. There are a limited number of seats, and it’s well on the way to selling out!
