  • Fourth of July on Nantucket may look different this year, but it's still going to be a Nantucket Fourth of July! Enjoy your time on Nantucket this Fourth of July by spending time on the beach, out to eat, shopping, and with your family. 

    Due to distancing concerns regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Fireworks display scheduled for Friday, July 3rd at 9:00 pm on Jetties Beach has been postponed until December 31, 2020, New Years Eve inside Nantucket Harbor.

    The traditional Main Street activities on Saturday, July 4th beginning at 10:00 am and culminating with the water fight between Town of Nantucket’s Fire Department and the Boynton Lane Reserves at Noon has been cancelled until 2021. Children’s Beach games scheduled for 5:00 pm with music on the bandstand at 6:00pm has been cancelled until 2021.
