    Nantucket, MA, December 3, 2019 - What better way to add some festive cheer to your holiday season than with music? Whether it’s caroling at Christmas Stroll or an upbeat jazz ensemble, the NCMC has you covered.

    Christmas Stroll Performances – Look for our students performing in town throughout
    the day on Saturday, December 7th .
    • Santa is coming! and the NCMC Drumline is leading the way.  Join the Drumline, directed by Nick Hayden, at noon as they lead Santa from Straight Wharf to the Whaling Museum. 
    • Many of our talented voice students will be performing on the Main Street Stage on Saturday:
      • The Open Voices Youth Chorus, directed by Greta Feeney, will perform at 2pm.
      • The NCMC Kinderchorus, under the direction of Kaeyllane Delima, will perform at 3:30.
    Sunday, December 8th, 4pm - NCMC Jazz Band presents a Not Christmas, Christmas Concert, featuring big band, rock, and pop music, with a Christmas tune, at the Summer Street Church, 1 Summer Street. Admission: $15. Tickets can be purchased at the door, at the NCMC office at 56 Centre Street, or online at

    Sunday, December 15, 7pm – the NCMC Community Chorus will perform a Holiday Concert featuring Frostiana: Seven Country Songs, as well as some Christmas classics spanning several generations, at the First Congregational Church, 62 Centre Street.

    “Frostiana” was composed by Randall Thompson in 1958. Thompson selected seven of his friend Robert Frost’s most beloved poems to create a suite of choral songs. This not-to-be-missed event is the perfect musical addition to the holiday season.
