Susan Burns's Comedy Extravaganza has been on Nantucket for more than twenty years between Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, the Actor's Theatre of Nantucket, the Sconset Casino with the Terrapin Theatre Company, the Unitarian Church, the backyard of the old X Gallery and even a salon on Orange Street! In the words of Susan Burns, “What inspired me to create this show is our love/hate relationship with August on the island!”

Susan Burns In New York, Susan has performed at the West Bank Cafe with Scott Blakeman and Nancy Shayne, at the Duplex with Amy Stiller, at the Village Gate, and at a Mason's Club on 24th Street. She is a Nantucket summer resident and excellent rotary driver.
Scott Blakeman was the resident comedian and commentator for 5 years on MSNBC's live coverage of the White House Correspondents Dinner, and currently appears weekly as a liberal pundit on I24 News. He performs his political humor around the world, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam, and the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. Blakeman also tours the U.S. with Palestinian Muslim-American comedian Dean Obeidallah in their acclaimed show Standup for Peace.
Nancy Shane Nancy is a performer, writer, and musical theatre composer. Currently she is a regular at The Mosquito hosted by Nancy Giles in NYC. She wrote the book, music and lyrics for the Transport Group’s
production of Marcy in the Galaxy as well as contributed story, music and lyrics to The Audience also produced by Transport Group and directed by Jack Cummings III. Her one-act musical Two Bitter Women in A Coffee Shop was selected for HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen and directed by Michael Patrick King. As an actress Nancy appeared in 4 episodes of the hit FX show LOUIE as “Nancy.” She’s in the movie Sex and the City and The Comeback. She wrote incidental music for 2 seasons of the TV show Sex and the City. In the past she was a musical director for the Chicago touring company of The Second City and co-founder of the Attic Theatre in Detroit, MI. She is now working as an editor for a celebrity memoir and preparing for
a reading of a new exciting musical this fall. Amy Stiller Amy Stiller, an actress and comedienne, has been seen in both film and television, including Inside Amy Schumer, Bored to Death and King of Queens, among others. She has performed in regional theatre and Off-Broadway, credits include: I Ought to Be in Pictures, Beau Jest, The Heidi Chronicles, and Down the Garden Paths, written by her late mother, Anne Meara. She is published in two books: No Kidding: Women Writers on Bypassing Parenthood and Dirty Laundry: Real Life, Real Stories, Real Funny. When she isn’t making Jerry Stiller laugh in his living room, she has
been creating Just Trust.
