  • Steamship Authority Offers Free Travel For All Veterans Day Annually


    Falmouth (October 21, 2020) – The Steamship Authority is pleased to once again honor all United States military personnel, including those in active duty, veterans who have been honorably discharged and retired veterans, with free passenger travel on Veterans Day, November 11, 2020. This day of free travel, which started in 2019, will now be an annual event.

    All veterans, including active duty, military veterans and retired military veterans, who have a valid military ID showing their active duty, honorable discharge or retired status can travel as a passenger for free on all Steamship Authority ferries on Veterans Day. This free travel offer is valid only for the active duty military person, veteran or retired military veteran and does not include any other passengers, or the passage of a vehicle.

    On November 11, 2020, veterans can pick up their complimentary passenger ticket at any Steamship Authority ticket office prior to boarding.
