Artists Association of Nantucket
Hosts By Land & By Sea
A Special ONLINE Exhibition
As the air fills with the scent of blooming roses and the harbor moorings bob with boats, the Artists Association of Nantucket
(AAN) is pleased to announce the opening of an Online By Land & By Sea
exhibition, which goes live on Friday, June 18, at 10 A.M. with art available 24/7 through Friday July 9.
You may view the eclectic work on: https://sales.nantucketarts.org/GiftShop.aspx
“By offering these online exhibitions in tandem with our classic in-person gallery shows, we are able to provide our artists with a second venue in which to showcase different works, while the consumers have the convenience of viewing the art in the comfort of their own homes,” said AAN artistic director & curator Robert Frazier.
This curated online exhibition will showcase one-of-a-kind landscapes and seascapes, allowing our artists two opportunities to exhibit their work, because the online show is not the same work that is shown in our Cecelia Joyce & Seward Johnson gallery at 19 Washington St.
“Just as we do in the gallery, when artworks sell, the artist has the chance to add another piece, so there will be additional works added throughout the online exhibition. This will give the public ample opportunity to find the ideal piece for that empty space, new business or home,” added Frazier.
The By Land & By Sea
online exhibition will be available 24/7 from June 18 – July 9. https://sales.nantucketarts.org/GiftShop.aspx
