Join AAN’s Artistic Director and art historian Bobby Frazier for Our Nantucket Art Colony – The Golden Age, A Survey of Nantucket Art History, 1920 – 1970, an evening celebrating the beginnings of Nantucket’s vibrant art colony. Bobby will present The Long Way Home, the current exhibition at AAN’s Big Gallery, featuring treasures from the Permanent Collection and artwork created on island from the 1920’s through 1970’s.
Bobby will follow a short slide presentation with a tour of the show, sharing his personal insights, memories, and insider stories about these dedicated artists who captured five decades of Nantucket in an era long gone by, but not forgotten.
