Artists Association of Nantucket
Hosts Spring Forward
A Special ONLINE Exhibition
As the warmer days’ increase and the daylight lengthens, the Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) is delighted to announce the opening of an Online Spring Forward exhibition, which goes live on Saturday, May 1, at 10 A.M. with art available 24/7 through Tuesday June 1. You may view the eclectic work on:
“This curated exhibition will showcase a robust selection of art by our local artist members, giving them the dual opportunity of exhibiting new works online as well as in our Cecelia Joyce & Seward Johnson gallery. By offering these online exhibitions in addition to our classic in-person gallery shows, we are able to give our artists added exposure while the customers have the convenience of viewing the art in the comfort and
safety of their own homes,” said AAN artistic director & curator Robert Frazier.
“We decided to call this online exhibition Spring Forward because we felt after a long winter people would be ready to enjoy a window into spring and brighter days,” said AAN gallery manager Peter J. Greenhalgh. “As we do in the gallery, when something sells the artist has the chance to add another work, so there will be additional works added throughout the online exhibition. This will give the public ample opportunity to
find the perfect piece for that empty space, new business or home,” added Greenhalgh.
The Spring Forward online exhibition will be available from May 1 – June 1.
