    NHA Hosts the 3rd Annual Flower Power Party

    NANTUCKET, MA – The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is excited to host the 3 rd
    Annual Flower Power Party on Friday, April 24, 2020, 6–8:30 p.m., at the Whaling Museum, 13
    Broad Street.

    The Flower Power Party kicks off the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce’s 46 th Annual
    Daffodil Festival weekend. Co-hosted with the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce and N
    Magazine, Flower Power transforms the Whaling Museum into a festive spring celebration with live
    music, hors d’oeuvres by Island Kitchen, a look at all the NHA’s new exhibitions, and, of course,
    prizes for the “best blooming” outfits.

    “We are excited to host this fun spring celebration for our third year and help kick-off an island
    staple, Daffodil Festival. This weekend has come to feel like the true start of the season and
    continues to grow each year. The Flower Power Party is a perfect way for the community to jump-
    start their spring and discover what’s new at the Whaling Museum,” says James Russell, NHA
    Gosnell Executive Director.
