  • Artists Association of Nantucket to Host AAN Holiday Expo In the BIG Gallery

Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) is delighted to announce the opening of the AAN Holiday Expo in the Big Gallery beginning on Friday, November 25. The doors will open at 10 A.M., and the show will be on display through Saturday, December 17.

“This special faculty & student holiday exhibition will feature works by a wide range of our AAN students, teachers, and our Artists in Residence. There will be works on paper, paintings, ceramics, prints and even some specialty gift items all created by our talented students and faculty,” said AAN artistic director and curator Robert Frazier.

“In a very limited capacity, this Holiday show ran at the Visual Arts Center during the height of COVID. With this expanded Holiday Expo, we are pleased to highlight works created by our students from beginners to established professionals, by our team of accomplished teachers, and works rarely seen by our Artists in Residence from around the country,” added Frazier.

Concurrently, AAN will be featuring the annual Holiday Small Works exhibition – all works done by our AAN artist members – in the award-winning Cecelia Joyce & Seward Johnson Gallery at 19 Washington Street, from November 25 – December 23.

The AAN Holiday Expo will be on display from Friday, November 25 – December 17, at the Big Gallery, located upstairs at 12 Straight Wharf. Open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 A.M. – 4 P.M.
