Built in 1803 by a sea captain and recently restored, the inn combines the charm and romance of a bygone era with the comforts of home. Featuring an unparalleled collection of original Nantucket artwork, luxurious guestrooms, fireplaces, and many gathering areas (including a peaceful veranda, fragrant pollinator gardens, and a roofwalk with panoramic views of town and harbor), the Martin House can make you forget that you have ever worked for a living. We serve a bountiful continental breakfast (featuring homemade granola and fresh-out-of-the oven scones and pastries, cereals, fruit, juices, gourmet coffee/tea) each morning, homemade treats each afternoon, and private-labeled wine and artisanal/gourmet cheeses on Fridays.
