“It’s art with an ACK-centric point of view!” David Sharpe a/k/a A Sharpe Artist is an illustrator who specializes in drawing all things Nantucket. He is the Artist in Residence at www.ACKartgallery.com which showcases much of Sharpe’s recent work. This includes Nantucket themed travel posters, hand drawn local maps, Nantucket’s iconic 3 lighthouses, ships, ferries and sailboats as well as commissions drawing houses or “House Portraits.” You may have also seen his sidekick, Chuck the Seagull who’s adventures are documented on Sharpe’s social media accounts and a weekly e-mail newsletter, ACKfoghorn. David is also a member of the Artist Association of Nantucket.
