The Town’s nursing facility, Our Island Home, seeks a Staff Development Coordinator to deliver programs designed to meet the educational and training needs of the Staff of Our Island Home. This may include, but is not limited to, clinical teaching and mentoring in staff education and performance of clinical staff, identifying, developing, and implementing educational and training programs, and maintaining records, schedules, calendars, and database of certifications. Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
Requirements: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse currently licensed in Massachusetts with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Education; master’s degree in Nursing preferred. A minimum of two years of administrative nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
24 - 40 hours per week. Full benefits offered. Starting wage $39.89 per hour. Union position.
