Discover this innovative method of developing a plate with cardboard and acrylic medium to make unique prints with oil paint and etching ink. Mollie encourages students to work with a curious mindset that embraces the element of surprise. Day 1\, will be spent creating a plate of depth and interest\, and Day 2 and 3 will be spent printing with a wide range of hues and viscosities. Students will learn how to take one plate to print a series of connected\, yet singular works of art. \n\n\n\n\nMOLLIE NELSON WEBSTER is a printmaker and photographer who lives and works in Providence\, RI\, and Nantucket. Webster earned her BA in Art History at Wesleyan University\, and her MFA in Visual Arts at Vermont College of Fine Arts. As a passionate environmentalist\, her collograph prints incorporate found objects from nature and waste from domestic life. Webster recently joined the AAN as an artist member and teacher.
