Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce to co-host Retail Marijuana Forum
Sustainable Nantucket Farmers and Artisans Market
We have finally gotten re-permitted to commence our Farmers and Artisans Market Saturday, 6/20 from 8:30-12:30. Come join the fun and check our fresh produce and honey from our farmers and lovely crafted and created on Nantucket artisinal gems such as jewelry, wood carving, soaps, photography and many other treasures.
There are many COVID related restrictions that the Market, our vendors, and the public will all have to adhere to in order to stay safe and stay open:
-Visitors and vendors must wear masks at all times;
-All visitors will be required to enter and exit at the Federal and Cambridge Street entrance ; No exceptions!
-Visitors must follow the arrows which indicate the required circulation pattern-its generally counter clockwise around the entire market;
-Social distancing of a minimum of 6 feet between persons must be maintained; this includes in the area designated for waiting along the post office sidewalk, prior to entering the market;
-Only 1 shopper or family is allowed at a vendor at one time;
-Please use hand sanitizer at the entrance desk;
-Please dont touch the merchandise or produce; let the vendor do that for you;
-Purchases done on a cashless basis are preferred; check each vendor's options;
We couldn't be happier that we are finally showcasing our locally grown talent. Big thanks to the following Town of Nantucket officials for sticking with us as we attempted to meet the regulations: Amy Baxter, Erica Mooney, Kathy LaFavre and Roberto Santamaria.
