LLNF Kids in Nature Workshop: Birding Bootcamp

LLNF Kids in Nature Workshop, preregistration required. Members: $30 per class, Nonmembers: $75 per class.

In this exciting class, students will learn about common bird species found on Nantucket and gain experience with the tools we use for birding, such as binoculars, spotting scopes, field guides, and apps. As a group we will practice identifying birds by sight and sound and will test our skills with an interactive bird walk! We will also examine specimens such as bird nests, feathers, and owl pellets and talk more about bird research.
