LLNF Bird Walk

Weekly birding field trips are offered on Wednesday mornings from early-May until late-October. In 2018 walks will run from May 2 - October 31 (EXCEPTION: there will be no walks on July 4th or September 19). Participants meet at the LLNF, 110 Eel Point Road, at 7:45 am for an 8:00 am departure. As you venture to various habitats around the island, our leader will guide you to see what avian friends are around. You will learn about local breeding birds, migration, how to identify birds, and enjoy exploring Nantucket. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them but there are a limited number of binoculars available to borrow.
