Fog Island Ribbon Cutting

Join us on July 1 at 9:00 am for a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the merge of Fog Island and Keepers at 5 Amerlia Drive! 

Those who are familiar with the dining scene of downtown Nantucket, no
doubt have recognized that Fog Island Café, one of downtown’s treasured
breakfast and lunch spots for travelers and locals alike for the last 25 years, is no
longer in its South Water Street location. Despite this, the catch phrase that has
been popular over the years has been transformed to “Find Me In The Fog @
Keepers Restaurant”. Since 2017, The Dawson Family have been operating their
second restaurant, Keepers Restaurant, located out-of-town at 5 Amelia Drive,
serving dinner year-round. This year, Fog’s famous breakfast will be served at
Keepers Thursday – Monday from 7:30 am until noon (to 1pm on Sunday). All of
the Fog Island favorites (Huevos Rancheros, Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes, Eggs
Benedict, Fog French Toast) – are available at Keepers, as are a few new
additions. Delicious new items such as “Breakfast Tacos, “Power Veggie Bowl”,
“Avocado Toast” might serve as new discoveries to start your morning. If you’re
in a hurry, there are take-out options available for breakfast.

Differently than the downtown location, Keepers has a beautiful covered
patio, including a bar outside with morning libations available to order. Be sure
to check out this location for an outside-of-town dinner spot with plenty of
parking and a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. Dinner is served Thursday –
Monday, 5:30-9:30. If you’re on the go, off to the beach or down to the boat, stop
in Keepers “side-door” for a delicious Take-Out lunch. Particular items will be
recognizable from Fog Island’s previous lunch menu. Be sure to look for the
infamous “SOUPS ARE BACK” sign this fall when the weather begins to cool
down.
