EGAN MARITIME INSTITUTE PRESENTS “LAUNCHING LIVES, LASTING LEGACIES”, A FUNDRAISER TO BE HELD AT THE NANTUCKET SHIPWRECK & LIFESAVING MUSEUM
Nantucket Island, MA – On Wednesday, August 18, from 5-7pm Egan Maritime Institute will hold its annual summer fundraiser on the gorgeous grounds of the Nantucket Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum. “Launching Lives, Lasting Legacies” will celebrate both the Sea of Opportunities student education programs and the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum.
Guests will hear brief updates from Don Peacock, Captain of the Tall Ship Lynx, Evan Schwanfelder, Manager of Maritime Education and Chloe Plank, a graduate of both the Sea of Opportunities program and Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
Tickets are $500 and $250. The $500 VIP level includes a complimentary sail on the Tall Ship Lynx.
Beer, wine and a signature cocktail are included, along with a selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres from A Taste of Nantucket.
