Enjoy learning the ups and downs of controlling watercolor and embracing this media’s spontaneity. Leyah Jensen Marshall will introduce you to a diverse assortment of pigments, brushes, and surfaces while focusing on the brilliance of the season’s light and color upon marsh, beach, and water. All levels of students will learn skills through weekly class demonstrations and challenges in this versatile, portable media that captures the light, reflection, and movement of the nature that surrounds our island lives. Guided by Leyah’s vast experience, learning watercolor becomes both satisfying and meditative for each student to experiment and hone their personal style. All levels welcomed.
