Art & Appetite – Recent Paintings by David Williams-Bulkeley
Nantucket Culinary is excited to start the 2018 Wine and Food Festival with the latest paintings showcasing the world of gastronomy by David Williams-Bulkeley paired with the wines of Peay Vineyards.
Come join David Williams-Bulkeley and Andy Peay on Friday for a complimentary evening of fine art, wine and hors d'oeuvres, focusing on Food as Art.
Born in the UK, David is an artist who has exhibited regularly with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, The New English Art Club, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Threadneedle Prize. He lives in Boston, Massachusetts and is a member of the Guild of Boston Artists.
Peay Vineyards was founded by brothers Andy and Nick Peay. While the fruit is sought after by some of the top names in California Pinot production, most goes into the terroir driven bottlings under the Peay label. After several vintages working at legendary Chateau Lafite-Rothschild in Bordeaux, and several more at California "Cult" winery Peter Michael, Vanessa Wong now crafts ethereal Pinot Noirs at Peay Vineyards in a remote corner of the Sonoma Coast.
The opening is complimentary, but please reserve your space.
