Historical Charm -
Modern Convenience
Nantuckets living history and charm, combined with its seclusion and beauty, is the ideal environment for successful meetings. Groups of all kinds have come to Nantucket to surround themselves in this unique ambiance, one that invites and nurtures clarity of thought, and creativity.
While the alluring ocean breezes and gentle seaside climate encourage productivity and a renewed sense of focus for the individual or group, an array of extraordinary facilities, activities, lodging and dining establishments provide the finest of services for your business meeting.
Professional meeting assistance and support services go hand-in-hand with the colonial elegance of 18th century architecture, unspoiled sea and dunescapes, cobblestone streets and a dedication to exceptional service. Nantuckets meeting rooms are well-equipped and offer the finest in AV equipment, catering, and services.
Accommodations for Smaller or Larger Groups
Whether your meeting consists of few or many participants, their every need can be graciously accommodated. For smaller groups, a number of intimate inns and bed and breakfasts provide an elegant and relaxed setting. When your meeting requires a larger setting, our hotels and function rooms can accommodate up to 250 people. With meetings, as with most things on Nantucket, smaller tends to be better!
A World Away
Although Nantucket is a world apart from many other destinations in its charms and services, it lies within easy reach. The island is home to a full-service airport with connections to many major cities in the Northeast, including regular year-round service from Boston, New York and Providence. Service is also offered by aircraft charters that pride themselves on efficient service to Nantucket from virtually anywhere on the East Coast. Regular flights also depart from Hyannis, on Cape Cod, and New Bedford, Massachusetts.
For the more tradition-oriented, ferry service runs out of Hyannis year-round, including one-hour high speed ferries. And once on the island, transportation is easy. The island is a classic walking destination: the historic downtown, where most inns, hotels, restaurants and shops are located, is easier to traverse by foot than by automobile. An extensive system of bicycle paths crisscross Nantucket, and from May through October the Nantucket Regional Transit Authority (NRTA) operates a comprehensive shuttle bus system to all ends of the island. Charter buses are also available.
