The Nantucket Regional Transit Authority (NRTA) provides seasonal public transportation “shuttle” service on Nantucket. Service is provided to/from Nantucket town to the mid-island and outlying areas of Miacomet, Madaket, Polpis and Siasconset Village. Various beach routes also provide access to Surfside and Jetties beaches as well as Nantucket Memorial Airport.

Stops are conveniently located along all loops and routes and are designated by gray posts with blue stripes. Park and Ride lots are available along the Miacomet and Mid-Island loops, where you may park free of charge and catch the shuttle.

One, three and seven-day passes are available as well as 30-day and season passes. All shuttles are wheelchair accessible and equipped to accommodate two bicycles on a first-come first-served basis. Photo courtsey of NRTA
