Coskata Coatue Wildlife Refuge Natural History Tour
Join our experienced guide on this 3 hour 4x4 oversand vehicle tour and learn about the fascinating flora and fauna that call Coskata-Coatue home. You will see beautiful and unique habitats such as salt marshes, barrier beaches, open ocean, a maritime oak forest, and a maritime red cedar savanna/woodland. Among the species that call these habitats home are Osprey, Northern Harriers, American Oystercatchers, Piping Plovers, Terns, and several other species of birds! Seals also call the refuge home, and may be seen from time to time. This is a very special and unforgettable Nantucket experience that you do not want to miss! This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 5.
