Canine Coaching at 56 Centre
Just because school is out doesn't mean your dog can’t be learning over the summer. NCS is delighted to announce regular individual coaching sessions in a secure and safe doggie room at our beautiful Centre Street campus.
These coaching sessions are designed to be short (under thirty minutes) consultations to help you address your dog training needs while our Basic Manners program is on a break over the summer. Perhaps you’re having a few potty training issues, or your pup has started nipping guests or jumping up. Maybe you just want to continue working on some training you’ve already started here or on the mainland.
Whatever your dog training needs we welcome you to our summer coaching sessions!
Als Allan is a student of the Victoria Stilwell Dog Training Academy and lifelong dog lover. Victoria Stilwell was the star of Animal Planet's "It's Me or the Dog" and is a leading advocate for positive reinforcement based training. Als's classes use the same positive reinforcement methods and are strictly aversive free. Positive reinforcement training methods focus on building a strong but compassionate bond between person and dog.
Positive training takes into account each individual dog's cognitive, physical and emotional strengths and aims to set the dog up for success. Rather than fearing training sessions, positive reinforcement based training is fun for both person and dog!
